Hello my name is Anwesha Samanta 🙃

I build data analytic products at Salesforce.com in San Francisco. I have been at Salesforce for over 4 years now. Currently I am a lead product designer for the Data Query and Charting platform. My team is also responsible for designing and building data analytics apps for various verticals like Sales, Service, Healthcare, Insurance and many more.

Before Salesforce, I worked at a start-up called LeanTaaS, that makes healthcare operations more efficient using data science. I was the only designer at the time and led the launch of a product called Patient Pulse that helps hospitals measure patient satisfaction and take relvant actions.

I'm an architect by education ⛩ 🏗

After 7 years of architecture school in India and New York, I moved to San Francisco Bay Area. Things were really slow in the real estate business at the time.

While exploring various opportunites, I realized how theories of design, circulation, constraints and engagements in architecture are fully applicable to software interaction design.

So I went from designing "3-dimensional spaces" for my users to designing "digital spaces" for them!

I love to read and practice yoga 📚 🧘‍♀️

I do Power Vinyasa and Bikram Yoga and my goal for this year is to be able to do full splits and headstands.
